Capabilities
Laravel applications built and maintained by people who will still be able to explain them a year later — including upgrades for the version you are stranded on.
Overview
Laravel moves quickly, and applications that were current three years ago are often several major versions behind, sitting on a PHP release that no longer receives security patches. The upgrade keeps getting deferred because nobody can predict what it will break — and each deferral makes the eventual jump larger and riskier.
We do both halves: new applications built cleanly, and upgrades of the ones that have drifted. Upgrades start with a test suite, because upgrading an application you cannot verify is how a two-week job becomes a two-month one. If the existing suite is thin, building enough coverage to make the upgrade safe is part of the work rather than a separate project.
Capabilities
How We Work
An honest assessment of what exists, what it depends on, and what the real risks are.
Enough test coverage to change the application with confidence, before changing it.
Small, reviewable changes shipped through CI — not a long-lived branch merged at the end.
Documentation, environment setup, and a runbook, so another developer can pick it up.
What You Get
In your repository and your accounts from week one.
Automated tests run before anything merges.
Scoped and priced before any build commitment.
Common Questions
Usually upgrading, and usually cheaper than people expect. We assess first and give you both numbers — a rebuild is occasionally the right call, but it is the more expensive default that gets chosen too often.
Yes. We start by reading the code and telling you what we find, including anything we think you should know about how it was built.
Regularly. That can mean handling the upgrade while your team continues feature work, or reviewing and mentoring rather than taking over.
Tell us what you have and what it needs to do. We respond within one business day with a scope and a price.
