Cloud & Infrastructure
Public cloud, FedRAMP-aware environments, migration tooling, and managed infrastructure — quoted through the right contract vehicle.
How cloud & infrastructure is bought
What agencies usually ask for
Government cloud is bought around a trigger: a data center lease or hardware warranty ending, a new application that has no home, or a compliance requirement such as FedRAMP or CJIS that points at a government region. Azure Government and AWS GovCloud (US) are the two platforms most requests name, and the first question in either case is which workloads move, in what order.
How this category is licensed
Cloud is consumption: compute, storage, network egress, and managed services billed monthly against a consolidated account. Steady workloads can be committed for a term in exchange for a lower rate, and enterprise support is priced as a tier. Third-party software that runs inside the cloud is often bought through the platform marketplace, which puts it on the same bill. Any cloud quote is therefore an estimate built from an architecture; without a workload inventory it is a guess.
What to have ready for a quote
A list of workloads with cores, memory, and storage, data volumes and how fast they grow, the compliance regime that applies, your identity provider, connectivity needs between sites and the cloud, and current spend if you are migrating from another provider. The consolidated quote separates platform consumption, marketplace software, and any migration or managed-operations services so each can be evaluated on its own.
Typical combinations
A landing zone with backup and monitoring is the usual first project. Agencies already on Microsoft 365 G5 tend to pair it with Azure Government so identity and licensing live in one tenant; AWS GovCloud is the common choice where an existing application stack is already built on AWS services. Sizing and migration planning can be quoted as professional services alongside the platform.
What moves the price most
Whether steady workloads are committed for a term or left on demand, how much data leaves the cloud each month, the storage classes chosen for cold data, the support tier, and the region: government regions are priced on their own rate cards. Right-sizing the workload list before the quote is the single largest lever, which is why the inventory comes first.
Cloud & Infrastructure
across every line
A selection of the cloud & infrastructure lines we source most often. We quote well beyond what is listed here — if you do not see a product, ask and we will price it.
Azure Government
Sovereign cloud compute, storage, and AI services for regulated workloads.
AWS GovCloud (US)
Isolated AWS regions for sensitive data and ITAR/CUI workloads.
