Security Awareness Training

Short, regular training and realistic phishing simulations that turn your staff from the easiest target into the first line of defense — with the completion records compliance frameworks and insurers ask for.

All Managed IT

Overview

Every technical control can be undone by one person who was in a hurry.

The filters catch most phishing. The detection service catches most of what the filters miss. What neither can do is stop a person who received a convincing message, believed it and typed their password — or wired money — before anyone could intervene. Staff are the control that technology cannot replace, and in most small businesses they have had one security talk, years ago, at a staff meeting.

Awareness training works when it is short, regular and realistic. We run brief lessons monthly — a few minutes on one topic, not an annual hour nobody remembers — and send realistic simulated phishing to see who clicks, who reports and who ignores it. People who click get a short follow-up lesson rather than a reprimand. New hires are trained in their first week, when they are most likely to be targeted and least likely to know who the owner is.

Leadership gets trends rather than names unless you want otherwise, and the completion records are exactly what HIPAA, CMMC and most cyber-insurance applications ask you to produce.

Capabilities

What's included

  • Monthly micro-trainingA few minutes on one topic — passwords, invoices, links, physical security — delivered to each person's inbox.
  • Phishing simulationsRealistic test messages modeled on current attacks, sent on an unpredictable schedule.
  • New-hire onboardingTraining in the first week, before the first fake invoice arrives.
  • Policy acknowledgementsYour acceptable-use and security policies delivered and signed through the same platform.
  • Completion tracking and reportingWho has completed what, click and report rates over time, exported for auditors and insurers.
  • Targeted follow-upAdditional short lessons for people who click repeatedly, handled discreetly.

How It Works

How the program runs

Training and simulations run on a dedicated awareness platform managed by our team, and the results feed the same monthly report as your other security services. Nobody is shamed — people who click get a short follow-up lesson, and leadership sees trends rather than names unless you ask otherwise.

Common Questions

Questions we get asked

How much of our staff's time does this take?

A few minutes a month per person for the lesson, plus the seconds it takes to report a simulated phish. The whole design is built around not interrupting work: short lessons that can be done between tasks beat an annual hour that pulls everyone off the floor and is forgotten by the following week.

Won't employees feel tricked by fake phishing emails?

They can, if it is handled badly, which is why we are explicit with staff that simulations happen, why they happen and that nobody is punished for clicking. People who click see a short lesson immediately and move on. Framed that way, most staff come to treat spotting the test as a small win rather than a trap.

Is this required for HIPAA, CMMC or cyber insurance?

HIPAA requires a security awareness program for the workforce; CMMC includes awareness and training practices; and most cyber-insurance applications now ask whether staff receive regular training and phishing simulation. The completion reports from this service are the evidence each of those asks for. We will help you map them to the specific requirement.

Can you tell us who has and has not completed training?

Yes. Completion is tracked per person and per lesson, with reminders sent automatically and a report available to whoever you designate. For audits and insurance renewals we export the record for the period requested. Simulation results can be reported by trend or by individual, as your policy prefers.

Does it cover part-time staff, contractors and volunteers?

Anyone with an account in your systems should be included, because attackers do not check employment status before sending a fake invoice. The platform handles part-timers, contractors and volunteers the same way as employees, and people can be added or removed as they join and leave.
