IT Support in Springfield, MO

Managed IT and help desk for businesses and local government across Springfield and southwest Missouri — a technician who can be on site, and a platform that fixes most things before you call.

All Managed IT

Overview

Local enough to show up. Modern enough that you rarely need us to.

Most of what keeps a business running smoothly — monitoring, patching, backups, the fix for a frozen laptop — happens remotely now, within minutes of the problem appearing. That is how we work for every client. But some things still need a person in the room: a dead switch in the closet, a new office to wire, a server to rack, a staff member who learns better across a desk. We are based in Springfield, and that person is on our payroll.

We serve the kinds of organizations that make up southwest Missouri's economy: medical and dental practices, law and accounting firms, contractors and manufacturers, nonprofits, churches, and the city, county and district offices that answer to the public. The same flat-fee managed IT program covers all of them, with compliance work layered on where HIPAA, CJIS or PCI applies.

If you are comparing local IT companies, ask each one two questions: what happens at 2 a.m. when a server fills its disk, and who exactly shows up when hardware fails. Our answers are that the platform fixes the first one before anyone notices, and a Springfield technician handles the second.

Month-to-month

We earn your business every month. No multi-year lock-in — you stay because the service works, not because a contract traps you.

Common Questions

Questions we get asked

Do you only serve Springfield?

Springfield is home, and on-site work is quickest across Greene and Christian counties and the towns around them — Nixa, Ozark, Republic, Willard and so on. Because almost everything else is delivered remotely, we also support businesses in Branson, Joplin, Bolivar and further afield, and the monitoring and help desk work exactly the same wherever the office is.

Can someone actually come to our office?

Yes. Routine on-site work is scheduled — a new hire's desk, a network change, a server swap — and when something is down and cannot be fixed remotely, a technician comes the same day where distance allows. Most clients find that once the platform is in place, on-site visits become rare, which is the point.

Do you work with city, county and school offices?

Yes, and it is a large part of what we do. Local government has its own requirements — CJIS for anyone touching law-enforcement data, records retention, purchasing rules — and our team is used to them. The managed IT program is the same one businesses use; the compliance layer is where the public-sector work differs.

How does pricing work?

A flat monthly fee per managed device that covers monitoring, patching, security, backup and help desk, agreed in writing before we start, month to month. Project work such as an office move or a migration is quoted separately. We do not publish a rate card because the right scope differs between a dental practice and a county office, but you will have a number before you commit.

Are you the same company that does government IT and procurement?

Yes. Atlas Business Management also delivers IT services and technology procurement for federal, state and local agencies, and builds websites and marketing for small businesses. Managed IT for Springfield-area organizations is run by the same people, with the same standards, under a flat-fee program designed for smaller teams.
