IT Projects: Cabling, Wi-Fi, Relocations & Deployments
The big moves handled end to end — structured cabling, business Wi-Fi, office relocations, server and network deployments and infrastructure upgrades — planned by the team that will run the result.
Overview
An office move is an IT project with furniture attached.
Some work does not fit inside a monthly fee: a new office that needs cabling and Wi-Fi before anyone can sit down, a server that has to be replaced without the business stopping, a network that was fine for twelve people and is not fine for forty, a move across town where the phones, the internet circuit and the file server all have to work on Monday morning. These are projects, with a scope, a price and a date, and they go wrong when they are treated as a long ticket.
We plan them properly: a site survey, a written scope, a fixed price, a schedule that respects your operating hours, and a cutover plan with a rollback. Cabling is installed to standard, labeled and tested; Wi-Fi is designed from a survey rather than guessed; servers and network equipment are specified for the next five years, not the next five months; moves are rehearsed so that Monday morning is uneventful.
Because we also run managed IT, every project ends with documentation in the same system that will support it, and the engineers who built it are the ones who answer the phone afterwards. There is no hand-off to a provider who has never seen the building.

How It Works
Built by the team that runs it afterwards
New servers, network equipment and workstations are enrolled in NinjaOne, our enterprise management platform, as part of the project, so monitoring, patching and documentation start on day one. Procurement runs through our technology sourcing arm, which quotes hardware and licenses on a single consolidated quote.

Common Questions
Questions we get asked
Do you do the physical cabling yourselves?
Yes, for standard commercial data cabling in the Springfield area, installed and tested to standard and documented. For very large installations or specialized work such as fiber between buildings we bring in a cabling contractor we have worked with before and manage them as part of the project, so you still have one accountable party.
How much notice do you need for an office move?
As much as you can give, and the internet circuit is the reason: new business circuits can take weeks to provision and the installation date is set by the carrier, not by us. Six to eight weeks is comfortable for a typical office; less is possible with temporary connectivity. Order the circuit the day the lease is signed.
Will the business be down during a server replacement?
The plan is built so that it is not, or so that any downtime is in a window you choose. The new server is built and tested alongside the old one, data is migrated while people keep working, and the cutover happens after hours with a rollback ready. The outage people fear usually comes from replacing a server in a hurry after it has already failed.
Can you quote the hardware as well as the labor?
Yes. Servers, switches, firewalls, access points, workstations and licenses are quoted through our procurement arm on a single consolidated quote, and we are vendor-neutral — we specify what fits the job and the budget rather than one manufacturer's line. You can also supply your own equipment and we will install it.
Do you work outside normal business hours?
For cutovers and anything that would disrupt work, yes; evenings and weekends are when most moves and server migrations happen. Survey, cabling and build work is usually done during the day. The schedule is agreed in the scope so your team knows exactly when to expect us.
